The Smith Family // Joplin Family Lifestyle & Newborn Photography

Oh gosh, where do I begin?! So I posted a model call for an expecting family that would like to help me out by letting me do a lifestyle shoot with them. Melissa contacted me soon after the post and I'm SO glad she did! Aaron and Melissa are the sweetest people! They invited me over to meet and check out there house and get an idea of what to expect when little Ryleigh arrived and they made me feel like we already knew each other!
They were so easy going and so much fun to be around when I came to do the shoot. A Ryleigh is just the tiniest, sweetest little thing! At the end, she asked if we could try out some more pose-y type shots, so we went ahead and did them. I was a bit nervous, but ended up falling in love with doing newborns!

This is a new style of shooting that I want to weave in to my current work. I LOVE being able to capture you and your family being together doing things you love and just being YOU. This lifestyle approach is a little different and much more laid back than a normal portrait session. For this particular session, I came to their home and just hung out with them and took photos of them being together... feeding Ryleigh, changing her diaper, and loving on each other. All natural, no posing. It was around 1.5 to 2 hours of me documenting a simple day in their lives. I'm hoping to add more of these sessions in the future! Email me at beautyofgracephoto@gmail.com if you're interested in more info about having a session like this of you and your family!

Enjoy!

Cody & Brittany // Joplin Engagement and Wedding Photography

We had a lot of fun with this shoot. We drove around the land my husband's parent's land is on and just stopped wherever we wanted to get these photos! I even turned the reins over to David for a few shots (first time during a photo session.) I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful, supportive husband!

ENJOY!
